This position supports NSP within the Strategic Missile Defense Line of Business in Lockheed Martin Space.

*** This is a part-time role with anticipated work hours between 20 - 35 hours per week. ***

As a Systems Engineer / DOORS Administrator, you will be responsible for:
? Maintenance of system engineering documentation, requirements, verification activities within the DOORS database
? Providing support to maintain consistency across releases with respect to hierarchical structure, core attributes, and naming conventions
? Implementing user interfaces needed to support DXL scripts
? Implementing requested changes needed to support existing DXL scripts
? Developing and managing scripts and managing DOORS links utilizing DXL, VBA, JAVA or similar
? Maintaining and monitoring automated script execution
? Maintaining and handling the documentation repository
? Application/infrastructure support for user issues within engineering hardware and software development environments
? Updating requirement metrics
? Assisting the development team for design reviews, technical review boards, training events, etc.
? Coordinating release and entry into configuration management of requirement documents (specs, Interface Requirements Spec (IRS’s)) and verification/sell-off documentation
? Research and retrieval of requirements from past releases
? Providing support for creation and maintenance of internal DOORS training, policies, procedures, and work instructions with Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT)

Basic Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or Management Information Systems
? 3+ years' experience working in Rational DOORS (Client side)
? Willingness to work a part-time schedule
? US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
3+ years’ experience in software and hardware development environment
? An understanding of the systems / product development process (Integrated Product Lifecycle)
? Experience with DOORS Version 9.x in a Windows environment
? Experience with SVN, JIRA, SharePoint, Windchill and Enterprise Architect
? Strong debugging skills (experience debugging interpreted languages a plus)
? Knowledge of standards and operating procedures
? Experience in DXL scripting a plus
? Experience in design and application of databases to support product development processes
? Configuration Management background and understanding a plus
? Excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, and customer service skills
? Ability to adjust to changing priorities
? Strong interpersonal and organizing, coordinating, and prioritizing skills
? Good oral and written communications skills
? Ability to work as a team member in a highly dynamic environment
? Self-starter, able to perform without constant supervision
? Willingness to learn and apply new methods and tool sets
? IBM Certified DOORS Administrator a plus
? Active Secret clearance
